Smart Boarding is an online training service offered by FCE Training Company Inc.It’s a one-of-a-kind business e-learning platform that provides real-time training sessions online, and it has already surpassed 15,000 user accounts.The service was awarded the HR Award 2018, Professional Category – Best Prize in Human Resource Development and Training.

Designer

Back when we started working on this project, there were clear usability issues—users were getting lost in the interface or finding it hard to use. So we approached it from a UX perspective and started by reworking the information architecture.We hypothesized that each page had too much information, and based on that, we built prototypes and ran interviews repeatedly as we refined the UI design.There were two main types of users:① regular users who take the training courses, and② admin users who create learning content and manage users.We designed both interfaces with each user’s specific needs and usage scenarios in mind.

Engineer

I was in charge of project management and front-end development.Since the online learning courses included a variety of content—videos, audio files, quizzes, PDFs, PowerPoint slides, and more—we had to make sure the interface could handle complex screens while staying responsive.To achieve that, we built it using Angular, which allowed for a quick and smooth user experience.
