Overview
Recoop is a cloud-based applicant tracking system (ATS) developed by HR Solutions Co., Ltd., specifically designed for hiring part-time and temporary staff.It combines a branded recruitment website—designed to attract fans of the brand or store—with powerful management features that prevent missed applications and improve hiring rates.
The company wanted to offer Recoop users data on average hourly wages in the area around each store to help them make more informed hiring decisions.To support this, we developed an integration that brings HRog Map—offered by one of our group companies—into the Recoop platform.We continue to be responsible for the system’s operation today.

Why they approached us
Recoop users had been asking if there was a way to access job market data around their store locations to help with their part-time hiring plans. In many cases, it’s store managers or franchise owners—not the HR department at HQ—who handle part-time recruitment, so they don’t have access to consolidated data. As a result, they often rely on gut feeling and experience, which sometimes leads to no applicants at all.In some cases, stores give up too easily, assuming “it must be the hourly wage” without actually verifying whether that’s the real issue.
While hourly wage is certainly a key factor in part-time recruitment, there are many other points of appeal—like working hours or the location itself.We wanted to provide a service that helps users better understand the competition and highlight the unique strengths of their own offering. That’s what led us to reach out to your team.
Challenges and reflections
There were times during the testing phase when we couldn’t retrieve logs and had to manually reproduce issues to investigate. We realized the importance of building systems that are easier to troubleshoot with an eye on long-term operations.Right after launch, there was also a delay in responding to some user inquiries due to the time it took to coordinate with your team.That said, you took steps to improve things after that, and we’re happy with how it was handled.Going forward, we hope to build an even tighter communication flow, especially when it comes to errors and maintenance.

The biggest success for us was hearing users say things like “This is exactly the kind of feature we wanted!” or “It’s amazing that this comes as a standard part of the service.”For companies with many locations, implementing a new system alone can be a huge task—but since this tool is fully integrated into Recoop, it’s been very well received.Your engineers were also great to work with—quick responses and a smooth rollout with no delays.Since launch, we’ve had no major issues, and everything has been running stably.

Since this feature was aimed at a different user group than those originally targeted by HRog Map, we didn’t just adapt the UI for mobile—we also added support for single sign-on, which was a new step for us.It was our first time integrating with another product, but including the integration testing, we managed to stick to the timeline for every milestone.
