Overview
“Hataraku Yorokobi” is a job listing site for the manufacturing and industrial sectors, operated by Outsourcing Inc.It supports a variety of employment styles—from temporary and contract positions to full-time and seasonal manufacturing jobs. With partnerships with over 500 major domestic manufacturers, it offers job listings across the country.
At the time, the existing site design had become outdated, prompting a full renewal. We collaborated with another development company and took charge of the frontend development. We also provided the updated design, which was implemented by the other vendor.Currently, we continue to handle ongoing site operations.

What led you to choose us?
“Hataraku Yorokobi is our own job site focused on manufacturing jobs. But with so many other major platforms specializing in factory positions, it became harder to attract applicants. We decided to rebuild the site because we wanted to improve our own media's performance instead of relying heavily on external platforms. When choosing a partner, we spoke with various companies, and your track record in the HR field really stood out.We also found your group company’s expertise in HR-related services and job market analytics to be highly compatible with what we were aiming for. That gave us the confidence to move forward with you.”
Challenges and observations
“There was a point when the main contact person from your team left in the middle of the project. I feel that if the current project manager had been on board from the beginning, communication and progress might have gone more smoothly. Also, in terms of layout zoning, it might’ve been better to define zones with future content expansion in mind. And I did notice that the handover process after the personnel change took some time. That said, your current PM really stepped in and did a great job recovering the situation, which we appreciated.”
What we were happy with
“We heard from our internal team members involved in the project that your team responded very quickly, which I also personally experienced. Also, this project involved three parties—your company handling the frontend, our group company in charge of the system backend, and our internal team. You did a great job coordinating everything between the three groups. It wasn’t always easy to define task ownership or responsibilities, especially when it came to certain features. But your PM helped structure everything clearly, communicated with both our team and the backend team, and kept things moving forward efficiently.”
Voices from Our Team
Designer
We started by learning about the service concept and its user base. From there, we pulled out keywords like approachable, soft, user-friendly, and a touch of playfulness, which we used to guide both the UI and logo design. We also focused on making navigation intuitive—especially the search flow—and rethought how job listings were structured to be more accessible to a wide range of users.

Project Manager
Since the renewal included a change in programming language, we planned the development process with future maintenance in mind.We used different development methods depending on the page type. For example, we designed the job listing pages so that the client’s existing operations team could continue updating them easily after the release.
